Unity in diversity is key when it comes to helping someone in need in Malaysia.

Yayasan Kebajikan Artis Tanahair chairman Datuk Irwan Shah Abdullah, better known as DJ Dave, said this during his visit to the home of ailing composer Datuk Ooi Eow Jin.“Even children, whether they are Malay, Chinese or Indian, would come to visit and give RM10 for Datuk Ooi.

“Although we are facing a difficult situation during this Covid-19 pandemic, the spirit to help each other still exists among the people in our country. Ooi, 82, who has been suffering from Alzheimer’s disease since 2015, and his family had received more than RM100,000 in donations. “I am thankful for the people from RTM, TV3, the Catholic church and many others who came forward to help us.
