PETALING JAYA: Arrangements are being made for some 1,988 Malaysians who are stranded in India to return home, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Ismail Sabri said 12 commercial flights have been prepared to bring back the Malaysians who are stranded there.

He said currently, there were 3,162 Malaysia stranded in some 60 countries and about 2,612 Malaysians have been brought home.He did not reveal the number of Malaysians who are left in Cairo.
