Ariff sahkan terima usul PM ganti speaker, timbalan speaker Dewan Rakyat

Speaker Dewan Rakyat Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof mengesahkan menerima usul Perdana Menteri Muhyiddin Yassin untuk mengantikan beliau dan timbalan speaker Nga Kor Ming.

“Ya. Jangan tanya saya lagi. Sila tanya perdana menteri dan menteri undang-undang untuk butiran lebih lanjut,” kata Ariff seperti dilaporkan oleh portal Malay Mail. Beliau berkata, tindakan Muhyiddin itu adalah di luar kebiasaan amalan Parlimen kerana ia adalah kali pertama perdana menteri mencadangkan untuk menyingkirkan speaker dan timbalan speaker.
