Arab Saudi, Mesir, Turkiye zahir sokongan kepada Palestin

RIYADH: Sejumlah kuasa serantau menawarkan sokongan kepada Palestin dan menggesa agar situasi dipulihkan dan meredakan keganasan, lapor portal berita Al Jazeera.

Pemangku Raja Arab Saudi, Putera Mahkota Mohammed bin Salman menzahirkan sokongan itu kepada Presiden Palestin, Mahmoud Abbas bahawa Arab Saudi akan terus berdiri bersama rakyat Palestin dan akan melakukan sebaik mungkin untuk mengembalikan semula ketenangan dan kestabilan kepada wilayah-wilayah Palestin.

Sementara itu, Presiden Mesir, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi dan Presiden Turki, Tayyip Erdogan menyeru Hamas dan Israel untuk segera menghentikan keganasan dan melindungi orang awam. Dalam panggilan telefon yang dibuat, kedua-dua pemimpin bersetuju bahawa orang awam tidak seharusnya terdedah kepada “risiko dan kehilangan nyawa yang lebih banyak,” kata jurucakap Presiden Mesir.
