It'd probably be ultra expensive too 🤑 AppleiPhoneUltra TechNave

Apple may be launching a new top-of-the-line tier of the iPhone next year which would be its most expensive yet. Dubbed the iPhone ‘Ultra’, it could debut with the iPhone 16 series and maybe a tier above the Pro Max variant instead of replacing it as previously rumoured.

This is according to reliable tipster Mark Gurman who claimed that the Ultra variant would be the most powerful and of course, most expensive tier of iPhone when launched. Writing in his Bloomberg column, Gurman changed his prediction from earlier last September in which he said that Ultra is replacing the Pro Max variant.

Apple CEO Tim Cook seems to allude to a price increase on iPhones during the company’s earnings call as consumers may be willing to pay more for a better product. Cook asserted that people are “willing to really stretch to get the best they can afford in that category,”. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. If it turns out to be true, it’d be interesting to see how this iPhone Ultra variant would fare in the market.
