Previously, we mentioned the leaked render of a foldable Apple iPhone. Now, the company is rumoured to be working on two devices planned for 2025 and 2026. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, Apple is increasing its efforts in developing foldable devices. Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu said Apple is preparing for mass production of 20.3-inch foldable devices by the end of 2025. This is followed by the foldable iPhone which is expected to enter the market by the end of 2026.

In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo and Ross Young have previously hinted at Apple working on a foldable MacBook and a hybrid device with a 20-inch foldable display. Both are targeted for production in 2027 or earlier with the addition of a dual-screen and foldable MacBook or iPad as suggested by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Moreover, Pu's latest report shows an acceleration in the development of Apple's foldable device, with improvements in the supply chain. The foldable device is expected to target the ultra-luxury market which could potentially introduce a new line for Apple. In particular, Apple is exploring two screen sizes for the foldable iPhone, namely 7.9-inch and 8.3-inch, which aim to meet diverse user preferences.

Besides that, they reported that mass production for the 20.3-inch foldable device in late 2025 is in line with Apple's accelerated timetable. This will be closely followed by the launch of the foldable iPhone in late 2026. This reflects Apple's commitment to innovation and adaptation to evolving consumer demands. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Apple.
