I don't condone violence or threats, but I also don't understand why these devs constantly fuck over players and ignore feedback and then act surprised when those players start acting out of anger.
Telling someone you hate someone else in a private DM is not harassment. Lists a lot of problems with the game. 'This is a vocal community. It’s full of folks willing to tear into the developers simply doing their jobs.' Doesn't sound like they are doing their job very well...
It's really sad how entitled people can be. Developers work their butts off to bring you a service to enjoy, and people thank them by harassing, cursing, and even threatening them. There's a line between feedback and harassment and it seems a lot of people don't realize that.
