To commemorate the milestone event, a carnival was held October 1 and 2 at Cardijn House, the residence of the Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Nanas.
During the carnival, AOHD’s ministries, collaborators, and friends set up stalls selling various types of food and beverage, handicrafts, souvenirs, and clothing. There were information booths from different ministries to create awareness about their outreach programmes. AOHD’s collaborators, A.C.T.S., Be My Protector, Global Shepherds, Malaysian Care, Tenaganita, Tzu Chi Foundation, and YouTrain also participated in the carnival.
“A ministry may not survive if it is not humbled, aligned, coordinated, and persevering. It is also God’s will that these ministries continue, because, without God’s abiding presence, the institution would not survive, or may not produce the fruits that it is supposed to produce.” He reminded us that mission is not about individuals, but it is about the mission that God has entrusted to us. “We are just little ones who are serving other little ones in our midst,” he said.
