PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim met with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to discuss a"number of latest issues".
"We also agreed that the government needs to be swift and firm in addressing challenges of the economy, which includes encouraging domestic and foreign investments," Anwar said in Facebook post on Monday . Earlier, in a separate event in Putrajaya, it was learnt that Anwar would be meeting Dr Mahathir to seek clarification on the remarks.
The 93-year-old statesman had repeatedly said that he would abide by his promise to pass the baton to Anwar.
