Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani berkata, beliau diminta membantu siasatan berhubung beberapa laporan polis yang dibuat terhadapnya berkaitan dakwaan Ahli parlimen yang menyokongnya sebagai Perdana Menteri.Sementara itu, Timbalan Pengarah Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Bukit Aman Deputi Komisioner Mior Faridalathrash Wahid mengesahkan polis sudah memaklumkan kepada Anwar untuk hadir ke Bukit Aman, esok.
Presiden PKR itu dipanggil memberi keterangan pada 3 petang dan siasatan akan dilakukan Unit Siasatan Jenayah Terkelas Bukit Aman. Ia bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Seksyen 505 Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998. Terdahulu, Harian Metro melaporkan, polis menangguhkan mengambil keterangan beliau ke satu tarikh yang akan dimaklumkan kelak.
Sebelum ini, Anwar diminta hadir ke Bukit Aman pada 11 pagi Isnin lalu, namun ditangguhkan selepas Setiausaha Sulit beliau memaklumkan hanya dapat hadir pada 9 pagi 13 Oktober.
