'Anti-public transport' Pakatan govt to blame for current traffic congestion, says Dr Wee

"When Pakatan became the government in 2018, it abandoned or postponed several mega public projects, including HSR, the Johor Woodlands RTS Link and the Electrified Double Tracking rail project.

"The operation of the MRT 2 project has also been delayed until June 16 after Pakatan abandoned the project. Dr Wee said the Road Transport Department had also issued a statement recently to emphasise the restriction of goods carrying vehicles from entering Kuala Lumpur city centre during peak hours, where many of them are ignoring this prohibition and causing traffic congestion in Selangor and KL during peak hours.

Today's government is an opportunistic party which full of greedy politicians to handle public projects especially in transportation...the most corrupted ministry in this 69 cabinets!?!They are not capable and unwise politicians administrating the helm of this unwanted governmen

Pls la Mr Transport minister. Be a real man and take responsibility for current traffic condition. U might get some brownie points for the coming GE15 which u badly need.

Think we should NOT blaming for what happened in d past. Pl be forward thinking n find solutions , those are d qualities d public is looking for. Many want to forget d past irregularities and don’t care about d history ! So , Minister , pl get on with d tasks at hand .. Tq.

Whatever it is, ask yourself whether the facilities ease worsen the user. Some user are not living in urban area which are known full of congestion (not just about traffic) but they have to go out early and reach home late as they live somewhere that are not so congested.

Stop blaming and start resolving the issue. We are all part of the blame. But politicians are elected to identify and resolve pertinent issues in their respective departments.

Dear Minister, you have been a minister longer than the PH government. Apart from the 22 months, I believe most if not all transport ministers were from MCA. Blame should be on you, your party and your government. Stop fooling yourself

Fact: it’s more TIME EFFICIENT to drive . Eg: drive to pyramid from my house takes 30 mins. But if I take public transport, need 2 hours or more cuz need to change train from KTM to LRT to BRT😅. Take bus is even longer cuz we will never know when the next bus will come😅
