Kota Kinabalu: The State Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Ministry launched the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan 2024–2029 for the Drainage and Irrigation Department , Friday.
“The implementation process of the DID OACP Plan also considers incorporating certain existing initiatives that have been certified to be effective in previous implementations. “Therefore, it is my hope this plan can serve as a reference for all DID employees, from the top management down to the lower levels.“I believe that by eliminating corruption, misuse of power and acts of malpractice, service delivery will be enhanced, not only in terms of efficiency and transparency but also accountability,” he said.
The plan provides clear guidance to all government bodies on their roles and responsibilities in preventing corruption, he said.
