: Menteri Kewangan II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan mengetuai delegasi Malaysia ke Washington, Amerika Syarikat bagi menghadiri Mesyuarat Musim Bunga Tabung Kewangan Antarabangsa dan Kumpulan Bank Dunia pada 17-19 April, 2024.
“Negara-negara anggota juga akan berkongsi pendapat berhubung pelaksanaan strategi dan dasar negara masing-masing bagi menangani isu-isu semasa ekonomi serta kewangan global dalam sidang plenari dan sesi perbincangan semasa Mesyuarat Mengenai Persefahaman Tindakan Iklim Menteri-Menteri Kewangan . Dalam pada itu, Amir Hamzah berkata sejajar usaha tindakan perubahan iklim global, Malaysia menyasarkan untuk mencapai keseimbangan melalui pelaksanaan mekanisme penetapan harga bahan api bersesuaian.
“Pendekatan ini sejajar dengan komitmen Malaysia untuk mengurangkan pelepasan gas rumah hijau dan menggalakkan amalan lestari tanpa membebankan rakyat,“ katanya.
