The schools that remain closed are in Kuala Langat and Klang, Selangor. FMTNews

Schools have been given the power to close if the air pollution level reaches hazardous levels and have been ordered to reduce all outdoor activities.

The federal territories and selangor education departments made these separate announcements on Facebook this evening. The Selangor Education Department said the air pollutant index readings had gone past the 200 mark at the Johan Setia station at 2pm today.It listed the schools affected on the education ministry Facebook page.
