PETALING JAYA: The all-new fifth-generation Range Rover luxury sports utility vehicle is finally launched today.The fully imported flagship model from Land Rover is powered by a 4.4 litre turbocharged V8 petrol engine producing 530hp and 750Nm of torque.
The new Range Rover is the first model to use Land Rover's new flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture . The new Range Rover features a modern and sophisticated interior, underpinned by its minimalist nature, tactile materials and user-friendly technology . The new model is also equipped with the Pivi Pro infotainment system, which includes a 13.1-inch curved floating glass touchscreen with haptic feedback. This is complemented by a new 13.7-inch Interactive Driver Display with high-definition graphics and a configurable layout.
It builds on the hushed and sealed body architecture by using accelerometers and microphones on the outside of the vehicle to create quiet zones for the cabin occupants. A smooth-shifing eight-speed automatic transmission coupled with a twin-speed transmission results in better low-speed control in off-road situations.
