Ketua Polis Daerah Gua Musang Supt Sik Choon Foo berkata pihaknya melakukan beberapa penyuraian trafik sebagai langkah mitigasi dalam mengurangkan kesesakan di pintu keluar utama negeri ini. “Penyuraian dilakukan secara berperingkat dengan kaedah menutup laluan bertentangan yang tidak sesak dalam jarak lima kilometer bagi memberi ruang kepada jalan yang sesak menjadi dua lorong,” katanya kepada Bernama hari ini.
Sementara itu, Mariati Abdullah, 42, yang dalam perjalanan pulang ke Cheras, Kuala Lumpur berkata dia sekeluarga ‘tersangkut’ dalam kesesakan lalu lintas di beberapa kawasan sebelum memasuki daerah ini.
