KUALA LUMPUR: Alibaba Group Holding Ltd melancarkan tawaran awamnya di Hong Kong, yang membentuk sebahagian daripada tawaran global sebanyak 500 juta saham biasa baru dan penyenaraian saham biasanya di Papan Utama Bursa Saham Hong Kong Ltd.

“Selain meningkatkan asas pelabur syarikat itu secara keseluruhan, tawaran tersebut akan memanfaatkan kumpulan modal baru yang besar di Asia dan mewujudkan pasaran hampir sepanjang masa untuk pelabur global melakukan urus niaga saham Alibaba,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini. Matlamat ini akan dicapai dengan meneruskan tiga teras strategik iaitu globalisasi, penggunaan domestik dan data raya yang didayakan oleh pengkomputeran awan, katanya.
