Mohd. Zuki berkata, beliau mewakili seluruh warga perkhidmatan awam merakamkan ucapan takziah kepada keluarga Allahyarham.“Allahyarham yang juga anak jati Johor dilantik sebagai Ketua Setiausaha Negara ke-13 dan mula menyertai Perkhidmatan Tadbir dan Diplomatik pada 1981. “Menelusuri sejarah gemilang perkhidmatannya, Allahyarham telah menabur bakti di pelbagai kementerian dan jabatan antaranya di Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri; Kementerian Pengangkutan; Unit Perancang Ekonomi; INTAN; Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam dan Unit Kerjasama Awam Swasta, Jabatan Perdana Menteri,” katanya.
Katanya, pemergian beliau di bulan Ramadan yang mulia ini adalah satu kehilangan besar kepada negara dan perkhidmatan awam. Mohd. Zuki pada masa sama mendoakan semoga Allah SWT merahmati dan menempatkan Allahyarham dalam kalangan orang-orang yang beriman. – UTUSAN
