“Ada 3 subjek yang sepatutnya kerajaan tak boleh kompromi tidak kira Orang Asli atau warganegara Malaysia iaitu bahasa Melayu, Sejarah dan Pengajian Islam bagi pelajar Islam dan Pendidikan Moral bagi pelajar bukan Islam. “Jika nak beri kelonggaran bahasa Inggeris nak tutup sebelah mata lagi masih boleh, tetapi bukan untuk subjek Bahasa Melayu dan Sejarah,” katanya.
Perunding Bahasa Majlis Perundingan Melayu , Awang Sariyan berkata kerajaan perlu mematuhi dasar negara terutama subjek bahasa Melayu yang menjadi asas dasar dan sistem pendidikan kebangsaan.
