AirAsia X looking to exclude MAHB from debt deal, says report

AIRASIAX Bhd may exclude Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd from a plan to ask its creditors for a debt haircut, Reuters reported today.

MAHB filed suit last week to claim from AirAsia a debt of RM78 million.The airport operator also filed a separate application to be excluded from the carrier’s debt restructuring scheme as it was of the view that its loans were secure.
