Tony Fernandes announced that all AirAsia Food and Xpress riders will be employed as full time staff. They will enjoy minimum RM3,000 income with EPF, SOCSO, medical coverage, annual leave and flight coupons.

today announced it is offering its gig workers full-time employment with a minimum monthly salary of RM3,000.said that alongside the attractive basic salary, the riders will also receive perks such as Employee Providence Fund and Social Security Organisations savings account, medical coverage, annual leaves, and even travel benefits.
