PETALING JAYA: Artificial intelligence (AI) is growing rapidly and is fast becoming an essential part of our lives; from speech recognition tools to drones.

The University of Southampton Malaysia assistant professor will be giving a talk titled “Shining a light on the future of Artificial intelligence” at the Star Education Fair 2019 on Sunday.

They will brief students and parents on a wide range of certificate, foundation, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as professional qualifications.“What makes AI possible is the engineering that improves the computing power – optical network advancement through higher performance optical interconnects and transceivers.

The Universiti Teknologi Petronas department of computer and information science associate professor said the fourth industrial revolution and Internet of Things have forced businesses to employ knowledgeable workers with advanced IT skill sets.“I will be sharing on job scope from the viewpoint of a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Cyber Forensic Expert and an Algorithm Developer,” he said.
