Ahmad Zahid wants to become PM, claims Tajuddin

Tajuddin, who was recently dropped as a supreme council member, said that this was one of the reasons why there are calls for an early election."This is merely a 'bait' for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri. In reality, he wants to become PM but you know he"tak boleh pakai" .

"Zahid will arrange everything, from who the candidates contest in the election, and this includes my constituency."Don't take the state elections in Johor and Melaka as a benchmark because they are not the same as the General Election. "He is not qualified to lead Umno, he has about six months left give or take, so it is better if he backs out respectfully," he said in a press conference on Monday .On June 23, it was reported that Tajuddin was removed as a supreme council member via a letter.

In the letter dated June 21 signed by Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, it was revealed that Tajuddin has been dropped as a supreme council member.
