THE Attorney-General’s Chambers should explain why Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd was let off with only a fine despite submitting a false report to Bursa Malaysia, said the Malaysian Bar today. Bar vice-president Ezri Abdul Wahab said the AGC should take the advice of financial regulators, like the Securities Commission , to ensure proper penalties are imposed.

We have pervasive problem with lack of amanah. Folks who are entrusted simply don’t fulfill their fiduciary duty. The AG has the final say on who is prosecuted or not.
