Saudara-saudari yang saya kasihi dalam Kristus, Perayaan Hari Minggu Kristus Raja merupakan kemuncak Tahun Liturgi Tahun C dalam Kalendar Gereja kita. Pada Nov 27, 2022 kita merayakan Hari Minggu Adven yang Pertama.
Kita bersyukur kerana adanya masa Adven ini memberi kesempatan baik bagi kita untuk mengambil masa menyatukan diri kita kembali dengan Yesus yang adalah Imanuel, “Tuhan berserta kita” , namun sering kali diabaikan atau dilupakan kerana kesibukan harian kita. Oleh itu dalam masa Adven ini, kita diajak supaya mengambil sikap dan budaya senantiasa ‘berwaspada’.
