Chinese-Canadian actor Shawn Dou has officially tied the knot with his beau Laurinda Ho, the daughter of late Macau gambling king Stanley Ho, in a lavish wedding ceremony in Bali on Tuesday . Hours after their wedding, the newlyweds – who have been dating for four years – took to Weibo to share pictures from their big day and also betrothal ceremony., the wedding began with Laurinda's uncle walking her down the aisle. In the pictures shared, the 31-year-old can be seen dressed in a white wedding gown with lace motif whereas her husband Dou, 34, was clad in a white tuxedo and black slacks.
It is understood that the union was witnessed by close relatives and friends at the luxurious Six Senses Uluwatu resort. A pre-wedding ceremony was also held the day before.reported that the couple spent around HK$50mil for their big day – from the venue to Laurinda's hand-stitched wedding gown, that's said to have cost over a million Hong Kong dollars, and presents for guests.
On Weibo, Dou shared a photo of the presents he and Laurinda prepared for guests. Inside it included a branded day and night cream, perfume, chocolate and a pair of custom-made slippers as well as a sleeping mask.Apart from luxury items, Dimsum Daily reported that the newlyweds arranged a three-day itinerary for fellow attendees. They also hired 120 security personnel to ensure the safety and privacy of guests.
