Processor and a 49Wh battery. The company has now launched a new thin and light laptop in China, called the ‘Extraordinary Go’. Similar to the first one, it is also powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i5 processor but supports much faster charging and a larger battery capacity. So let’s take a look at what this new laptop has to offer.. According to the company, it offers a theoretical battery life of 8 hours. However, it will vary depending on the usage.
Upon opening the lid you’ll be looking at a 14-inch IPS panel with a 16:10 wide aspect ratio. It comes with a Full HD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The panel also boasts a 45%NTSC color gamut rating, which is not recommended for video or photo editing. However, it should be okay for use cases that don’t require an accurate representation of color such as dealing with text.
A highlight of this machine is the support for 180-degree opening and closing of the lid. It also features a Full HD camera and a backlit keyboard. The Extraordinary Go equips the 12th generation Intel Core i5-12450H processor which comes with a 45W performance release. For cooling it boasts dual heat pipes and dual fans. You can also switch between three performance modes using Fn+F to find the perfect balance between performance and battery life based on your workflow.
