The Japanese Technology & Culture Weekend 2019 aims to showcase the technologies of Japanese companies in Penang as well as to appreciate their contributions to the local economy and communities.

Now into its third edition, this year’s event will be held from 10am to 6pm daily from Oct 11 to 13 at TDP, which is located at Komtar Geodesic Dome in George Town.

The main objectives of the event are to showcase the technologies of Japanese companies in Penang and to appreciate their contributions to the local economy and communities. It is also to highlight the Japanese’s custom and culture to Penangites.

The merriment continues with cosplay and caricature drawing for visitors by Osrio Cosplay. Pre-registered cosplayers will get free entry to the event and a free photoshoot at the Canon booth. Besides the JTCW exhibits and workshops, visitors also get to play with over 130 interactive science exhibits in Tech Dome, such as Laser Maze and Skeleton Moves.
