KOTA KINABALU: Former Sabahan footballer Matusin Bowie is among Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah’s five candidates to contest in the Sabah state polls on Sept 26.Matusin was one of the players who made history under the Sabah team when they claimed the FA Cup in 1995.
However, he was suspended by the Football Association of Malaysia for being involved in a match-fixing scandal. PBRS president Joseph Kurup said the party was given the trust by the BN leadership to contest in Matunggong, Tandek, Kadamaian, Sook and Tulid.
