'Kesan ini hanya jangka pendek dan tidak berpotensi membahayakan kesihatan penerima vaksin dan akan sembuh dalam masa beberapa hari,' katanya semasa membentangkan laporan AEFI vaksin Covid-19 secara maya hari ini.

KUALA LUMPUR: 93 peratus atau 23,453 kes mengenai kesan advers susulan imunisasi diklasifikasikan sebagai tidak serius.

“Ini merupakan kesan advers paling kerap dilaporkan oleh penerima vaksin, dan kesan-kesan berkenaan biasa mengambil masa satu hingga dua hari untuk pulih. Dalam pada itu, Roshayati berkata, sebanyak 7.34 peratus atau 87 laporan daripada AEFI diterima bagi dos penggalak diklasifikasikan sebagai serius, bersamaan kadar 6.3 laporan bagi setiap juta dos.

“Oleh itu, trend dan kadar pelaporan AEFI melibatkan dos penggalak tidak menunjukkan sebarang peningkatan daripada yang dilihat semasa pemberian dos primer, trend pelaporan sama juga dilaporkan oleh negara lain telah menjalankan program imunisasi bagi dos penggalak vaksin Covid-19,” katanya.
