Konsul Jenderal Republik Indonesia di Kota Kinabalu Krishna Djelani berkata kenderaan berkenaan terbakar kira-kira 3 petang ketika dalam perjalanan dari Kota Kinabalu menuju ke beberapa kawasan di Sandakan untuk menghantar kertas undi berkenaan.
