9 states hit Level 1 heatwave alert

The heatwave is expected to last for three consecutive days, according to the Meteorological Department. – Utusan Malaysia pic, March 17, 2019.

NINE peninsula states are reported to be at Level 1 alert while Pendang in Kedah is at Level 2 , with temperatures ranging between 37°C and 40°C. A Meteorological Department update as at 5.20pm today showed that 21 areas were at Level 1 with temperatures ranging between 35°C and 37°C.
