88 slapped with MCO-related charges

THE 15th day of the movement-control order saw 88 people in several states charged with flouting the government directive.

Most of the offences were for “moving from one place to another in an infected area”, which provides for a maximum six months’ jail, or a fine of RM1,000, or both, upon conviction.
