A 63-year-old man was shot dead by an unknown individual, after leaving his friend’s house in Amarin Kiara at midnight last night.
According to Free Malaysia Today, the elderly man had just left his friend’s house after finishing playing mahjong before he was gunned down.“A witness saw the victim crossing the road towards the car park. Shortly after that, the witness heard three gunshots from the car park and saw the victim on the ground near his car,” Brickfields police chief, Assistant Commissioner Amihizam Abdul Shukor was quoted by the news portal.
Amihizam also urges the public who have information regarding the incident to call the Brickfields police hotline at 03-2297 9222, the Kuala Lumpur police hotline at 03-2115 9999, or to relay the information at any police station nearby.
