A TOTAL of 58 new Covid-19 Omicron cases have been confirmed, with 54 of them imported and four locally transmitted, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said. He said that as a result of whole genome sequencing conducted by the Institute for Medical Research , the local cases were reported in Kedah and they are believed to have been infected by an umrah pilgrim who tested positive for the Omicron variant.
