NEW DELHI: Selepas Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Indira Gandhi di New Delhi, seorang lelaki Jerman akhirnya berlepas ke Amsterdam.
Menurut sumber, lelaki itu menaiki penerbangan KLM, Selasa lalu, selepas ujian saringan Covid-19 mengesahkan dia negatif daripada virus berkenaan. Portal NDTV melaporkan, Edgard Ziebat, 40, terkandas di lapangan terbang itu selepas India menguatkuasakan perintahSebelum itu, dia tiba di India dengan pesawat Vietjet dari Vietnam pada 18 Mac lalu dan mahu mengambil penerbangan terus ke Istanbul, Turki.
Tetapi tiada penerbangan ke destinasi itu kerana India menghentikan semua perkhidmatan penerbangan komersial akibat Covid-19.Bagaimanapun, Kedutaan Jerman dan syarikat penerbangan tiada kata sepakat untuk membawanya menaiki pesawat itu.Turkish Airline juga enggan membenarkannya menaiki pesawat khasnya berikutan Ziebat bukan penduduk tetap Turki.Bagaimanapun, laporan itu tidak menyebut jenis kesalahan lelaki itu.
