Under SOPs released by the Selangor Islamic religion standing committee for mosques and suraus in the state under the movement control order , obligatory prayers at the two mosques are capped at 200 people at a time. This includes officials and members of the mosque committee. “Institutional mosques” are allowed to have a maximum of 200 worshippers for Friday and obligatory prayers, while tarawih prayers are capped at 200 male congregants.
Suraus holding congregational prayers may only allow 50 and only male congregants are allowed for tarawih prayers.
