JOHOR BAHRU: Seramai 5,427 penduduk daripada 1,500 keluarga ditempatkan di pusat pemindahan sementara ekoran banjir yang melanda negeri ini semalam.
“Jumlah mangsa banjir di Segamat berkurangan daripada 1,811 mangsa melibatkan 808 keluarga kepada 1,763 mangsa membabitkan 498 keluarga di 21 PPS di daerah itu. Setakat pukul 2 petang ini, sebuah PPS di Balai Raya Kampung Sungai Lenek ditutup. “Bilangan mangsa banjir di Kota Tinggi meningkat daripada 744 mangsa daripada 183 keluarga kepada 782 mangsa daripada 190 keluarga.
Menurut mangsa berkenaan , Rahibah Yahaya, 31, keluarganya sudah berpindah ke PPS sebanyak tiga kali sejak November, Disember dan terbaru kelmarin apabila paras air meningkat secara mendadak. Suri rumah dan ibu kepada empat cahaya mata ini memaklumkan, bulan ini genap setahun rumahnya ditenggelami air banjir yang turut berlaku Januari tahun lalu.
