GEORGE TOWN: Chaos reigns when residents spotted a 4m long python slithering in the Ayer Itam neighbourhood.

Northeast district APM officer Kapt Muhammad Aizat Abd Ghani said they received a distress call at around 11.50am on Thursday .“When we arrived, the snake had hid itself in the engine of a car parked there.

“Four APM personnel immediately swung into action and managed to capture the snake,” he said when contacted.“With the help of residents nearby, we managed to complete the operation smoothly and safely,” he said.
