30 arrested for not wearing face masks in public

In a statement, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the 30 were among 89 individuals nabbed by authorities on Thursday ."Of that total, 12 were held under remand while 77 others were issued compounds.

A total of 53,691 checks were made on Thursday by 12,753 officers of the government's task force on SOP compliance. Ismail said 22 undocumented migrants and two"tekongs" were arrested in the Ops Benteng joint operation involving the police, Malaysian Border Security Malaysia and the Armed Forces, who put up 84 roadblocks nationwide under the operations.

Ismail also said between July 24 and Oct 1, a total of 38,843 individuals entered the country through international entry points.

This minister is getting more and more irrelevant.
