Perak legislative assembly speaker Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid says three assemblymen will not be allowed to attend the sitting which is to begin on Wednesday. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, August 23, 2021.

THREE Perak assemblymen will not be not allowed to attend the state legislative assembly sitting, which will begin on Wednesday, as advised by the National Security Council and the Health Ministry . Speaker Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid said this following the status of the three assemblymen – one of whom tested positive for Covid-19, another had been in close contact with a positive case, while the third had yet to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
