Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, berkata sehingga jam 10 pagi tadi, semua mangsa itu sudah mendapatkan rawatan iaitu 21 perempuan dan lapan lelaki termasuk 16 orang daripada mereka adalah dari Sekolah Agama Taman Mawar .
“Seramai 14 orang mangsa sudah dirawat sebagai pesakit luar dan 15 orang mangsa diberi rawatan di Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru di mana 6 daripadanya sudah dimasukkan ke wad. Semalam, Menteri Kesihatan, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad menegaskan pihaknya tidak menolak kemungkinan gejala sesak nafas dan muntah dialami 15 murid di Pasir Gudang, Johor hari ini seakan sama dengan gejala kesan pencemaran Sungai Kim Kim sebelum ini.
Dr Noor Hisham berkata, pihaknya kini bekerjasama dengan kementerian dan agensi berkaitan dalam menguruskan kejadian ini.
