29,000 commercial crime cases still unsolved, says IGP

Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador says police are checking to see if the cases have been left unsolved due to misappropriation and negligence, laziness or if there was an agenda to protect certain people. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, November 6, 2019.

A TOTAL of 29,000 investigation papers involving commercial crime cases remain unsolved since 2005, said Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador. He said the number of the cases was disappointing and made it appear as though the police had failed to take action on cases reported by the public.
