PETALING JAYA: Seramai 27 pelanggan sebuah cawangan Starbucks di Korea Selatan dijangkiti Covid-19 akibat seorang wanita tidak memakai pelitup muka yang merupakan “super spreader” virus itu. Akhbar itu melaporkan wanita terbabit mengalami simptom sakit kepala dan batuk keesokannya, tetapi keadaannya tidak beransur pulih pada 11 Ogos, selepas memakan ubat.Pihak berkuasa kesihatan Korea Selatan sedang menyiasat bagaimana virus itu disebarkan dalam cawangan Starbucks.

Menurut pihak berkuasa kesihatan tempatan, jumlah kes dikaitkan dengan kluster itu meningkat kepada 54 orang Rabu lalu, dengan 48 daripadanya tinggal di wilayah Gyeonggi.
