Ketua Polis Johor, Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay berkata, serbuan jam 4.30 petang itu turut menahan seorang lelaki tempatan yang dipercayai menjadi penyelia kepada warga China berkenaan.
Katanya, suspek warga China membabitkan 19 lelaki dan lima wanita itu dipercayai memperdaya mangsa untuk membuat pelaburan dengan menjanjikan pulangan lumayan dalam masa singkat secara dalam talian. “Kesemua suspek direman 14 hari bermula semalam bagi membantu siasatan, manakala suspek lelaki tempatan direman tiga hari,” katanya.Ayob Khan, berkata pihaknya turut merampas pelbagai peralatan yang digunakan sindiket berkenaan.
“Antara yang dirampas termasuklah 14 unit komputer riba, empat unit komputer, 84 unit telefon bimbit dan enam unit modem.Kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 420 Kanun Keseksaan dan Seksyen 6 Akta Imigresen 1959/63. Beliau turut menasihatkan orang awam supaya membuat laporan kepada polis jika terdapat kumpulan warga asing mencurigakan di kawasan perumahan mereka.Berita Berkaitan
