Dalam pada itu, menurutnya, hasil awal daripada tindakan Op Catut 8.0 mendapati kenaikan harga jualan bagi ayam bersih standard adalah dipengaruhi oleh faktor peningkatan kos bagi dedak ayam di peringkat pengeluar.“Kenaikan harga jualan ayam bersih Standard bagi satu kilogram melebihi RM9 mula berlaku pada minggu kelima bulan Ogos. Harga tertinggi yang direkodkan pada tempoh tersebut adalah di Pasar Besar Tampin dan Pasar Awam Johol dengan jualan RM9.
