“Cuti am tambahan ini dapat membolehkan mereka yang merayakan Krismas pulang ke kampung masing-masing lebih awal,” katanya ketika berucap pada Majlis Perayaan Krismas Kota Kinabalu 2019 malam ini. Mengenai sambutan itu, Mohd Shafie berkata, sambutan itu menjadi lambang perpaduan utuh dan keharmonian pelbagai kaum dan agama yang ada di negeri itu.
