AlorGajah Seramai 224 individu selesai menjalani saringan Covid-19 secara pandu lalu di Klinik Kesihatan Masjid Tanah, Alor Gajah yang diadakan sejak minggu lalu.

EXCO Kesihatan dan Antidadah negeri, Rahmad Mariman berkata, Jabatan Kesihatan negeri berpuas hati dengan kesanggupan individu terbabit menjalani saringan berkenaan bagi membantu menghentikan penularan wabak berbahaya itu, terutama di sekitar Masjid Tanah.

"Jika ada sesiapa yang mempunyai gejala atau disahkan positif Covid-19 mereka akan dihubungi untuk diambil tindakan selanjutnya," katanya di Alor Gajah, hari ini. "Proses saringan berjalan lancar kerana hanya mereka yang mempunyai janji temu dibenarkan memandu kenderaan melalui kawasan saringan dan ia mampu mengurangkan kesesakan dalam klinik.

Ujian saringan itu adalah susulan terdapat kes dua penghuni di pusat pengajian agama di Kampung Pulau Semut, Masjid Tanah yang masing -masing berusia 42 tahun dan 20 tahun disahkan positif wabak itu pada 3 Mei lalu.
