Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kesihatan, Alam Sekitar dan Pertanian Johor, Dr Sahruddin Jamal berkata, bagaimanapun jumlah pesakit yang ditahan di wad hospital berkurangan.
“Pesakit baharu yang dirujuk ke hospital seramai 22 orang, manakala dua daripada empat pesakit saja masih dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi dan dilaporkan dalam keadaan stabil,” katanya. “Ia membabitkan 64 TABIKA dan 1 TASKA di Parlimen Pasir Gudang, 25 TABIKA dan 1 TASKA di Parlimen Tebrau dan 1 TABIKA di Parlimen Tenggara.“Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia akan sentiasa mengemaskini sebarang informasi terkini dari masa ke semasa berkaitan insiden ini,” katanya.
Beliau berkata, secara keseluruhannya, hampir semua sekolah menunjukkan nilai kompaun organik tidak stabil sifar ppm, kecuali bacaan di Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Rinting 3 yang menunjukkan sekali sahaja bacaan VOC pada kadar lima ppm dan 3 ppm.
