LABUAN: The 2024 Labuan Diving Festival 2.0, a premier event celebrating Labuan’s rich marine heritage, began yesterday and will run until tomorrow .
He said the festival features diving expeditions to the renowned “Big Four” wrecks and vibrant reefs surrounding Rusukan Besar Island, offering participants an unparalleled diving experience. He said the Labuan Diving Festival 2024, supported by Tourism Malaysia and various local organisations, reflects the collaborative spirit of the diving community and underscores the importance of marine conservation.“We are thrilled to welcome divers from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Labuan, Singapore and France.
“This festival aims to revitalise the scuba diving industry and ignite a passion for niche tourism in Labuan,” he also said.
